Update (Part 1)

I know it's been a while since I posted anything, so I will endeavor to bring things up to date, starting with this, a video of a visit from Ray's foster mom (Amber) and foster sister (Jordan). They stopped by, back in April, just as Jordan was getting ready to move away from this area. They both figured that it would probably be the last time that they'd be in this neck-of-the-woods, so they made a special effort to come and visit with their favorite blind hound.

I view this video with mixed feelings. I can't help but be thrilled at Ray's joyous reunion with his fosters, but at the same time I can't help but be jealous. All I ever get at the front door, if Ray even bothers to get up off of his chair, is the "Oh, it's you again" look.

Sigh.

  1. If it wasn't for your one sister who is a known troublemaker, you would never have Ray in the first place.

    1. So, Kath, you're going to take all the credit for instigating? I like to think of it more as FATE with a little nudge from you. : )

  2. Bwahahahaha! Jean, you are too funny! Super job with the editing :) So happy we were able to come by and visit with y'all! Time flies, but I still remember driving 30 miles across a town to pick up a never before seen 6 month old blind puppy from the Vet's office where he'd just been neutered; there was no one else to take him, poor little guy :( Ray certainly hit the jackpot when he found you :) What I'd really like to see is how he would act if he saw Tippy again! Wonder if they would remember one another...

  3. Did you feel like yesterday's news? That was really heartwarming and fun at the same time!

Glad to see an update on Ray - missed seeing your posts!

  4. Ray may not show you all the excitement everyday but that is because he knows you are his rock. His safe person. The one who will always be there for him. He just knows with out a doubt that you are there. That in itself is love. He can and does count on you. Cute video! I wonder if my foster puppies would remember me??
