Three Days, Two Nights

That's how long we get to keep Murphy while Josh and Rachel (or, as we call them, Jachel) are out of town.

How many of these things do you think we can rip through?
I had the foresight to put all of Ray's bones out of reach, so the dogs are having a marvelous time. It's been almost non-stop play since 10:30 this morning when Murphy arrived. The water bowl has already been drunk dry once. The death toll (of toys) so far is two. It is now 4:30 and Ray is asleep in Gregg's chair. Murphy is passed out on the floor.
I think I won.
Has anyone seen my ear? And my body?
Where'd she go?
Dinner break.

4:30

They're both a little older now, I wonder if they're going to get a second wind.

    1. Wow. No pressure there. I think all my creativity just dried up ; )
It's a good thing these things pretty much write themselves.

  3. My Emma never understood the concept of toys; as soon as she was given a brand-new $10 stuffed thingy, she single-mindedly set out to destroy it, and always succeeded within mere minutes. I finally gave up, so all my dogs are toyless :( Looks as though you, like me, could probably have taken a vacation with all the money spent on torn-up toys!!

    1. hahahahahahaha.
I can't complain, really. Ray's toys usually last a pretty long time. They tend to "go bad" when he leaves them outside and they get muddy and moldy. He isn't destructive until Murphy comes over. They have such a great time destuffing them and I love to watch the show. It's definitely worth the price of admission.
