Strange Goings-on

Don't tell the dog, OK?
I don't know if it's the weird weather we've been having lately -- 70 degrees (21C) yesterday, 40 degrees (4C) today -- but two of my animals are being weird.
Our crazy old lady, Moonie, has decided that she likes dog food.
Our crazy blind dog, Ray, has decided that pooping onto shrubbery is the way to go.
Mmmm, dogfood

Doe di doe doe, just poopin' on a bush.

  1. Strange, indeed. I wonder if it has anything to do with Mario Lanza's birthday...

  2. I hate it when dogs poop on bushes - it makes it extra challenging to clean up! One time, Blueberry pooped in the lake. I was mortified! I had to scramble and try to gather all of it up before it floated away! I guess she figured I basically poop into water (toilet, not lake, just to be clear) so maybe she thought she'd give it a whirl.

    1. hahahahahahahahaha. They sure do weird things sometimes, don't they?

To make it extra challenging, this was a very prickly shrub!

  3. I was with you until the pooping in the bush! Our cat Gerrard loves dog kibble, has since he was a tiny little kitten. He would reach his paw into Cairo's dish and pull pieces of kibble out while she was eating. Once in a while he'll sneak a piece from the blind girls. Uh, the pooping in a bush thing...I've never ever heard of that! Gotta love that boy Ray!

    1. The dog food thing is new for Moonie. The dishes have been sitting in the same spot for 3.5 years and the food hasn't changed for the last 3 years. But she is so loopy these days that, for her, there's a new discovery every day.
      Can't explain the bush-poopin'.
