You Can Call me Al

(Click caption below for a musical interlude. Click on photos to see Ray's leaf-mulched nose. Click on the word Lyrics to see the lyrics to the song.)

....bone digger, bone digger, dogs in the moonlight, far away my well-lit door. Mr Beerbelly, Beerbelly, get these mutts away from me, you know,I don't find this stuff amusing anymore.*

If you be my bodyguard, I will be your long-lost pal. hmmmm, hmmm, hmmmm, hummmmm, hmmm, hmmmm, hmmmm, hmmmm.

*Lyrics from 'You can Call me Al', by Paul Simon

  1. Ray, that bone looks well aged and most likely is very yummy! (you're lucky you were allowed in the house with that)

    1. Well, I threw it outside after I took the photo which knocked most of the dirt off of it. Then Ray brought it back in for awhile. But I haven't seen it in a couple of days so it must be back in the ground somewhere. I'm sure it will turn up again when it gets really nasty.

  2. Grrrrrr.....you gave me the ear worm of "You Can Call Me Al" (Ear worm = a snippet of a song that plays on a continual loop thru your brain at least all day, whether or not you want to keep singing it in your head) Thanks Ray, you had to be a bone digger, didn't you? Hope you had a good time.

    1. Yeah, but what a great ear worm to have. I've been humming that one for days...(well, that and Holly Holy which they played in Here Comes the Boom).

Yeah, but better those songs than a jingle from a commercial, don't you think? I mean, who wants a song about hamburgers going through their head all day? : D
