You did NOT just do that...

I realize that my dog is spoiled and probably gets away with waaaaay too much but, REALLY (she says with outrage in her voice). I don't know what makes him think I will tolerate him chewing my shoes while I am WEARING them. (My poor unfortunate favorite sandals again.) Having said that, if I had my camera/phone handy, I would have taken a picture....

  2. After watching him catch and eat a fly today (after a prolonged chase), I'm not really sure if that's a compliment.

  3. LMAO!!!! Roxy used to try and chew the laces off Joe's shoes while he was wearing them. Maybe they are saying they want to go go on a walk or something?

    ps- how is Gregg??

  4. Gregg is doing well. He's back at work, the stitches are healing nicely and he can eat cheese again...

  5. Flies are fun and buzzy, but Mom's feet/sandals are delicious - there's a difference, really (if you were a hound dog, you'd know; humans miss the nuances). And if I were you, I'd consider releasing flies in the house for Ray to chase every once and a while - much less expensive than marrow bones and MUCH more entertaining.

  6. Actually, I think he's been holding his dog door open to let them in. Seems like we've had one really fun fly in the house every day since the first one. They keep him entertained for hours after he gets home from school. It's so much fun to watch Ray chase flies but the windows (and Ray's nose) are taking a beating.
