"This neighborhood is going pot," said my neighbor, Bill, as he walked past my house.
"Why do you say that?" I inquired.
"Used to be when I walked around, I would see girls in bathing suits lying on blankets in the sun," he said, laughing, "Now it's just Ray the hound dog."
My name is Ray the Blind Dog. I'm a Redtick Coonhound that was born blind in July 2008. I'm named after my blind counterpart Ray Charles. I joined a family of 2 cats and 2 humans in June of 2009. I want to show everyone how well I get along in this world and let my friends know how I'm doing. Please feel free to add remarks or share your experiences in the comment box. We all want to know what you think.
Awwww! Ray is decorative, too...just ask his 39.5 diehard fans. We think he's a very handsome hound.ReplyDelete
I wonder if I make him a bikini if he would wear it....Delete
Jean! A bikini is beneath his dignity. He needs a Speedo so he can give Mark Spitz a run for his money! I bet Anne in FL would appreciate it, too. I think she has the right idea about sunbathing hounds ;)Delete
ooooooo. Love the idea of a speedo. I wonder if my sewing skills are up to the challenge.Delete
Mark Spitz. Now there's a name I haven't heard in a long time! You need to update to Michael Phelps. I think he beat Spitz' record at the last Olympics. Although, Spitz was hotter...
I think Michael Phelps is kinda funny looking, to be honest. Mark Spitz, however, is still fetching after all these years.Delete
By the way, are you up for a game of "Guess the Fiber"? I have one more swatch I want to knit before I pop it in the mail. Look for a package from western MD coming soon-ish to a mail box near you...
Agreed on Spitz vs Phelps.Delete
Can't wait for the fiber! Really! Very excited!
I think Ray is way more interesting to look at too! Plus, can swimsuited girls bay like him? Yeah, I didn't think so. ;)ReplyDelete
I wouldn't mind catching a certain Ray...and giving him some lovin' and huggin' on a pretty, sunny spring morning!!! I'd probably even get a kiss too!ReplyDelete
Ya got that right!Delete
Kisses from the hound!
what a great blog - I read it everyday - Ray is adorable!ReplyDelete
ooooo. A new fan! Can we update the number of followers to 40.5? Or have you been following for awhile?Delete
We think Ray looks great laying out in the yard just the way he is! It could be worse, it could be some drunken college kids on beaten down couches, yelling at the passersby. (no, that was not my misspent youth!)ReplyDelete
Love ya Ray!
Ah, yes. The good old days.Delete
I have been following for quite awhile so you can update to 41.ReplyDelete
